Young Women

 

Trinity Houses young women’s group have been working on a child poverty strategy with suggestions for politicians about how their neighbour-hood could be improved, the young woman have been working on this project for the last six months. The girls came up  with suggestions  including;  a big fun house with cinema, minimum wage of £10 hour for adults and reducing the voting age for children.

The young girls aged 11-14 handed their amazing poster to Manchester central MP Tony Lloyd along with councillors from across the city the said “they hoped politicians would pin it to their walls to remind them about what needed doing in their area”
